This is a vintage early 1960s era, maybe late 50s, dress made of pink chiffon fabric over an acetate base.  The dress has a squared neckline, short sleeves, a wide banded waist and a full skirt.  The fabric is ruched on the bodice and sleeves and the skirt is cut full so that it falls in drapes.  The dress does up with a metal zipper at the back.  I posed the dress with a crinoline to create a fuller skirt look, but no crinoline is provided.

Label: Algo Original.  Algo was founded in 1942 as a dress manufacturer and has grown into Canada’s largest apparel company.

Sizing: No size is indicated, but the dress should fit a medium size - please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Bust:  36” around

Waist: 28” around

Hips:  42” around, meant to flare out

Length:  39 1/2”

Condition:  The dress is in very good condition with no wear, tear or staining - this has been very well kept over the years.
